Stargazer Lily (Lilium Orientalis)

Pulling away dead brush to reveal sun among the rubble. Bursting blooming iridescent transcendental flower petals, in the solar plexus, fiery but light and gentle. Star lily has the ability to circulate energy from the core- it blasts outwards through the extremities and circulates through the energy body and back into us, to super charge creative output and manifestation. Filter. Turns your fire to gold, channels rage and other intense energies into something constructive and beneficial. Equalizes. A gentle, sustainable grounding is a by-product of star lily’s nurturing qualities. Spirits heighten as they rise from the grounded place.

In other words, rage is channeled into benefit through the nurturing quality of fire, which star lily contains. This primal source of nurturing leads to feelings of safety and thus allows us to ground rather than be in fight or flight. From this place of grounding, we can relax into the strong energy that has been previously activated, in higher spirits and with a focus of construction.

Cutting up the frequencies, cutting through the frequencies, bending the frequencies. Altering reality, energy, to accommodate emotional needs. Helps us find ease and a soothing bath of light within overwhelming chaos and spiraling emotions. We self-soothe as an island, a lone soul on this planet, with fire as our father, water as our mother. Self-sustaining, as a microcosm of nature, this planet, the universe.

We need to have respect for fire, right relation with fire. Star lily comes to the rescue when the fire has raged out of control. Star lily helps us soothe the fear that comes with emotional wildfire, and remember with a level head the nurturing, life-sustaining aspects of it.

In practice:

Create a closed circuit with your hands and place them over your solar plexus and feel what’s there. Is it hot and raw, inflamed?

Breathe life into the solar plexus. In through the nose, out through the mouth, deep breaths.

Watch as a star lily, bathed in light and with translucent petals, blooms from the solar plexus.

With this focus back into the body, it can be easy to suddenly feel exhausted, frozen, stuck. Focus on soothing the intensities, but don’t subdue yourself. Choose to keep your energy heightened, bringing calm up to meet it.

Once you feel that star lily’s fire is contained and safe in your body, extend your arms and allow its freshly filtered energy to flow through the extremities.

Repeat: “I am safe. I am strong. I am calm and I am energized.” Repeat as many times as needed for these words to sink in.

Think about where you want to channel this energy, and focus on this (eg. Writing, dancing, cooking, working, play etc.). Think about the life and joy this activity brings you. Allow yourself to smile. Synchronize with the vibration of this activity.

Repeat this entire mediation two or three times, checking in each time with the physical sensations of the solar plexus. Smile and remember the joy of being alive. Allow yourself to be proud for feeling so deeply. Allow yourself to be grateful for the opportunity to feel the spectrum of emotion.

When you are ready, spring into action and carry star lily with you.

Directions

Shake well before each use. Take 3 drops on the tongue, in the corners of the mouth, or mixed with water; 3-4 times per day. Can additionally be added to the bath or misted into the space/ body.

Store out of direct sunlight and away from excessive heat/ cold. Keep in a special place away from strong scents and electronics.
